Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. Introduction

Lux Lucis Consulting SàrlS (“we”, “us”, or “our”), registered in Luxembourg under number B295967, is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit our website or engage with our services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Contact information: name, email address, company or firm name, and any details you provide through our contact form or when requesting our research publications. If you request a research download, we may use your email address to deliver it and to share occasional related research; you can opt out at any time by emailing us.
  • Usage data: aggregated or pseudonymised information about how you interact with our website, including pages visited, time spent, and referring sources.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: we may use essential cookies to ensure the proper functioning of our website, including a first-party cookie to remember that you have acknowledged the intended-audience notice.

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly measurement service that collects aggregate page-view and traffic-pattern data without using cookies, without tracking individual users across sites, and without collecting personally identifying information. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to be compliant with GDPR, ePrivacy, and comparable regimes. Further details are available at vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.

Beyond Vercel Web Analytics, we do not deploy advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking technologies. No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or comparable trackers are loaded when you visit. An embedded Google Maps frame is available on the contact section but only loads after you explicitly click to enable it, at which point Google will set cookies and receive your IP address in accordance with its own privacy terms.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and provide requested services.
  • Improve our website and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data under the following legal bases of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Responding to contact-form enquiries and pre-contractual steps: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • Website analytics and service improvement: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Marketing communications, where applicable: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
  • Record-keeping and compliance with applicable law: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share information with trusted service providers who assist in operating our website or conducting business, provided they agree to keep your information confidential.

We share personal data only with service providers acting as processors on our behalf, including website hosting and content delivery (Vercel), privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Web Analytics), contact-form processing (Formspree), and email delivery. Where any such provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards required by Chapter V GDPR, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or, where applicable, an adequacy decision or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Contact-form submissions are retained for a maximum of 24 months from the last interaction, unless a professional engagement is established, in which case engagement-related records are retained in accordance with Luxembourg law (typically ten years).

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Data portability.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg supervisory authority, the Commission Nationale pour la Protection des Données (CNPD), 15 Boulevard du Jazz, L-4370 Belvaux, www.cnpd.lu.

We will respond to requests within one month of receipt, in accordance with Article 12(3) GDPR. Requests are free of charge except where they are manifestly unfounded or excessive.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@luxlucisconsulting.com.

8. Automated Decision-Making

We do not use your personal data for any automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
